To show our appreciation for employee involvement in charitable activities, we provide employees with volunteer leave and donations matching program.

Employee Volunteer Program

We provide employees with a paid day off to volunteer on company time for a community cause of their own choice. Volunteerism is encouraged throughout our company because it is a win/win situation. It benefits the recipients to be sure, but moreover, it's a learning experience and leadership opportunity for those involved in the work.

Employee Charitable Donations Matching Program

Brookfield Residential's encourages employees to support charitable and not-for-profit organizations that reflect their personal interestes and concerns. This donations matching program matches employee contribution to registered charitable or not-for-profit organizations that meet the corporate matching guideline up to a maximum amount per employee, in any one calendar year.

Denver office offers help in maintaining hiking and biking trails

For three years now, the Brookfield Residential's Denver office has participated in the Adopt-A-Trail Program run by the City of Lakewood Trails and Recreation Department. Green Mountain Park, next door to our Solterra Community, is home to miles of natural hiking and biking trails which are widely used by area residents.

One day each summer, around 10 Brookfield Residential's employees pitch in to perform some light erosion control on a portion of Brookfield Residential’s designated half-mile trail section. It’s a steep hike to our section, and requires relatively hard labor under a hot sun, but the benefit to area residents is well worth it.
